GoLogin vs Dolphin Anty vs Multilogin vs AdsPower vs Incogniton, for your own proxies

GoLogin, Dolphin Anty, Multilogin, AdsPower and Incogniton compared on what your own proxies need: proxy fields, bulk import and team sharing.

If you are bringing your own proxies, GoLogin, Dolphin Anty, Multilogin, AdsPower and Incogniton are closer than their marketing suggests: all five take an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy with a username and password, check it before the profile starts, and can take timezone and language from the IP. Where they really differ is getting fifty proxies into fifty profiles without fifty copy-pastes, and letting a colleague use a profile without handing over the whole account. This comparison sticks to those, from each vendor’s own help centre, linked at the end.

No prices here. They change more often than help pages do, and each vendor’s pricing page is the only honest source for them. Where a feature depends on the plan, we name the plan the docs name.

The short version: which antidetect browser for which job

  • A few profiles, and you want to start free: GoLogin or Dolphin Anty. GoLogin’s docs describe a Forever Free plan with a single workspace; Dolphin’s list a free plan with five profiles. Either takes your own proxy with no fuss.
  • Profiles built from a spreadsheet, one proxy per row: Dolphin Anty, AdsPower or Incogniton. All three document an import file with a proxy column per profile. GoLogin imports profiles from CSV too.
  • An agency where contractors should see one client only: Dolphin Anty, whose shared folders carry per-user permissions such as start-only, or GoLogin, which shares one folder or one profile and nothing else. Multilogin scopes its Operator and Starter roles to folders too.
  • Your “proxy” is a server you can SSH into: AdsPower, the only one of the five whose proxy docs list SSH as a type.
  • A team that lives in one tool all day and wants strict roles: Multilogin, with four documented roles from Owner to Starter, available on all its paid plans.

Whichever you pick, the proxy rule is the same: one static address per profile, kept for the profile’s life. That part is the antidetect browser proxy guide; this page is about the browsers.

How each one takes a proxy

Where each antidetect browser takes a custom proxy, in what format, and which types
BrowserWhere you add itPaste formatTypes in the docsSaved for reuse in
GoLoginThe + in a profile’s Location column, or Settings → Proxy → Your proxyIP:PORT:USER:PASS, with an optional scheme in front and a name at the endHTTP or SOCKS, picked for youProxies page

AdsPowerProxy section → CustomSeparate Host:Port, username and password fields; one line per proxy in the saved listHTTP, HTTPS, Socks5, SSHProxies list

In practice the formats are the same line in different coats. If you keep your proxies in one text file in this shape, every one of the five will take it, in the saved list if not in the profile:

IP:PORT:USER:PASS

The one that trips people up is Multilogin, whose docs give only IP:port:login:password and IP:port, so a line copied as USER:PASS@IP:PORT needs rearranging. The Multilogin proxy guide has that and the other errors.

Getting many proxies into many profiles

Bulk proxy and profile import in each antidetect browser
BrowserMany proxies at onceMany profiles from a fileWatch out for
GoLoginProxies → Import proxies; or paste several lines into the Location columnCSV import and export of profiles; the docs do not list the columnsRe-importing a profile that exists updates it instead of duplicating it
Dolphin AntyChange Proxy on selected profiles (paid plans)Mass import from Dolphin’s .xlsx template, or Smart Data Import from .txt, .csv or .xlsxThe Random option shares a pool across profiles
MultiloginA proxy template, then Manage assigned profilesBrowser profile import takes .zip files exported from Multilogin, ten at a time (Pro 50 and higher); its spreadsheet bulk creation is documented for cloud phonesA quick profile’s Proxy list (up to 25) is used Sequentially or Randomly
AdsPowerProxies → Add Proxy, one per line, with an optional {label}Bulk Create → Mass import from an Excel or txt template with proxytype and proxy fieldsproxyid=random in the import picks a saved proxy at random
IncognitonBulk add in the Add proxy form, pasted or from a CSV fileImport from CSV with Proxy_ columns per rowA wrong proxy value still imports; the profile just will not connect
Plan limits are as each vendor’s docs state them.

Every “random” option in that table is the same trap in a different place. It is fine for a one-off look at a page from somewhere else, and wrong for a profile you will open again, because the profile ends up on a different address each time and its logins stop sticking. Assign proxies to long-lived profiles one by one, on purpose.

For a spreadsheet import, the shape of one row is what matters. In AdsPower’s txt template, for example, the proxy fields for one profile read:

name=acme-nl-ads
proxytype=http
proxy=IP:PORT:USER:PASS

Incogniton’s column names are in the Incogniton proxy guide, with a three-row example. Whichever tool you use, import one row, open the profile, run its proxy check, and only then import the rest.

Teams: who can open which profile

Team roles and sharing in each antidetect browser
BrowserRoles in the docsShare less than everythingProxies and teams
GoLoginCan run, Can edit, Folder full access, Workspace full accessSingle profiles, or selected foldersSeats come with the Business, Enterprise and Custom plans (one extra each) or are bought on top
Dolphin AntyAdmin, Teamlead, User (extra users on the Base, Team and Enterprise plans)Profiles with chosen rights, or folders with per-user permissions such as Start profiles and Edit profilesShare a proxy from the Proxy screen; transfer profiles with or without their proxy
MultiloginOwner, Manager, Operator, StarterFolder access per Operator or StarterAvailable on all paid plans; team members share the workspace’s Multilogin proxy traffic
AdsPowerAdministrator, Manager, EmployeeAuthorized groups per member, with a profile limitMember groups set function permissions for everyone in them
IncognitonCustom roles built from four kinds of permissionGroup permissions per roleProxy library permissions are their own setting; active session lock stops double opens
Free plans limit sharing: Dolphin Anty, for one, does not let a free account transfer profiles to anyone.

Two habits keep a shared setup sane, whatever the tool. Give each client its own folder or group and its own proxies, so a contractor who can see that folder sees nothing else. And never let two people open one profile at the same time from two different networks: Incogniton and Multilogin build in a lock for exactly this, and in the others it is a matter of telling people.

Defaults worth changing on day one

  • Multilogin languages: Masked by default, which means English whatever the proxy’s country. Fine for most work, wrong for checking how a French site treats a French visitor.
  • AdsPower WebRTC: Disabled by default. It stops leaks and also breaks video calls; Replace reports the proxy’s IP instead.
  • Dolphin Anty and Incogniton WebRTC: Incogniton recommends Altered; Dolphin’s Altered reports the proxy’s IP, and Dolphin marks Off as not recommended. Whatever a tool calls it, the choice to avoid is Real, which reports your own IP.
  • GoLogin timezone: matched to the proxy’s IP automatically. Leave it; if it looks wrong, the proxy’s location is what to check.
  • Free built-in proxies: Incogniton offers shared free ones, and several of the others sell their own. Switch them off for a profile that is meant to stay on your proxy.

Per-browser setup guides

Each of these walks through one tool click by click, using that tool’s current labels:

Running the SSH route in AdsPower, or wondering whether a VPS of your own is enough? Running your own proxy server vs paying answers that honestly.

What none of them change

A multi-profile browser separates cookies and fingerprints. It does not change who a website thinks it is talking to on the network: that is the proxy’s job, and a profile on a shared or rotating address undoes most of what the browser does. Nor does it change any platform’s terms. These tools are for client work you are authorised to do, ad verification and testing, not for account farms or getting round a ban; our acceptable use policy says the same for anything on our proxies.

If you want one static address per profile from us, that is an ISP proxy, country picked at checkout, and it pastes into all five tools in the format above. Mo’s advice, for what a banana executive’s advice is worth: choose the browser on how you import and share, because the proxy works the same in all of them. Questions about a setup go to Discord.
