SOAX sells residential and mobile traffic from one balance of prepaid credits. You can top up on Sandbox, their tier with no monthly fee, or take a monthly plan that includes credits and lowers the rate. Residential targeting down to city and ISP comes with every tier, Sandbox included.
The rate depends on the country of the exit IP, in three tiers. On Sandbox, the United States and other tier 1 countries cost $5.00/GB, which is lower than ours on orders under 5 GB, and no lower from there up. Tier 3 countries cost $2.00/GB, which is lower than ours on orders under 500 GB, and no lower from there up.
The catches are in the terms. Credits bought on Sandbox or a monthly plan expire 60 days after they are added, payments are generally non-refundable, and their terms describe the platform as designed primarily for business use. Our balance does not expire, and unused balance comes back if you ask within 7 days of a top-up.

- You need residential IPs from a particular country, region, city or ISP. We cannot pin residential to a location.
- You want mobile proxies on the same balance. We do not sell them.
Pick ProxyMonkey if…
- You buy 5 GB or more of US or other tier 1 traffic without a monthly plan: our rate is below their $5.00/GB Sandbox rate.
- You want a balance that does not expire. Their credits expire 60 days after they are added.

Why does SOAX charge different rates for different countries?
Their pricing page groups exit countries into three tiers by what each market costs them to serve, and charges by the country of the exit IP, not by where you or the target site are. We charge one rate for the whole pool, which you cannot pin to a country.
Do SOAX credits expire?
Yes. Their pricing FAQ says credits added on Sandbox or a monthly plan expire 60 days after they are added, and credits on an annual plan after 12 months. Our balance does not expire.
