ProxyMonkey vs the $1/GB no-names
This is the honest one, because these are our actual competitors. We are priced within a rounding error of the cheapest proxy sellers on the internet, and from the outside a landing page is a landing page.
So rather than name one and pick a fight, here is the checklist we would use if we were the ones handing over $20. Run it on us too. If we fail a line, hold us to it in Discord where everyone can see.
Most of these providers are not scams exactly. They are one person with a reseller account and no incentive to build the boring parts — the metering you can audit, the refund process, the abuse desk. Those boring parts are the product.

Questions about this comparison
How do I test whether a provider is inflating usage?
Run a fixed job — say, fetch the same 500 URLs — through a local byte counter such as mitmproxy or a wrapper that sums Content-Length plus header size. Then compare with what the provider billed.
A few percent of drift is normal, since TLS and connection overhead are real bytes. Thirty percent is not drift. That is a business model.
How do I check whether an IP is really residential?
Take the IP, look up the ASN, and see who owns it. If it belongs to a hosting company, a cloud provider, or a VPS reseller, it is a datacenter IP no matter what the label says. Free ASN lookups will tell you in seconds.
Are you not just another one of these?
By appearance, yes — same price bracket, same kind of landing page. The difference is that everything we claim above is checkable, and the checking does not depend on trusting us.
That is the whole bet: publish the numbers, make them auditable, and be the cheap option that survives being audited.
